About Me
Experienced architect specializing in cultural heritage with extensive expertise in managing cultural and tourism projects, as well as museum design and creation. Proficient in planning, programming, and the specialized design of projects aimed at preserving, conserving, and promoting cultural heritage, with a focus on enhancing its societal value. Since 2008, I have collaborated with Tiempo Rojo, a consultancy dedicated to Cultural Heritage, leading museum establishment projects across Mexico and managing the protection and restoration of historic monuments, adhering to ICOM, ICOMOS, and UNESCO standards. With approximately 15 years at Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH), I oversaw significant cultural projects, including World Heritage Site restorations in Guanajuato. Founder of SALIX Designs in British Columbia, Canada, I prioritize community enrichment through cultural heritage initiatives, tourism resource management, and educational outreach, contributing actively as a member of ICOM United States and The American Alliance of Museums.
